This week, I am a day early and a fortnight late. I have been busy, and I forgot and generally neglected this blog; I apologize for the delay. To make up for a missing post, this fortnight will have two websites, not just one. Today's (technically tomorrow's) websites of the fortnight are GoDaddy and OpenStreetMap. GoDaddy is a domain name registrar and domain provider. This is not a paid advertisement, it is just this website's host. OpenStreetMap is a map of the world which anyone can edit for free. You might think it would suffer from vandalism, but it works for the same reason Wikipedia does: most of its users aren't vandals, and the ones who are are often too lazy to cause much damage. Besides, most things do seem to eventually get fixed. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians.
