Today's website of the month is the International Phonetic Association. The International Phonetic Association is a well-known organisation active in the field of linguistics. It is perhaps best known for developing the identically-abbreviated International Phonetic Alphabet, a globally recognised system for representing the sounds of human speech. Among other projects, the organisation also manages a scientific journal dedicated, as one might assume, to phonetics.
