Checkers

This is a game of checkers.

Rules

• Each player starts with an equal number of men.
• Men have two actions: they can move one square diagonally forward, or jump forward over an adjacent enemy piece in order to capture it.
• If you are able to capture on your turn, you must do so.
• A piece can make multiple captures in a single turn, as long as these captures are made successively.
• If a man reaches the farthest row, it becomes a king, in which case the player's turn ends immediately.
• Unlike men, kings can move and capture backward.
• The game ends when a player has no valid moves remaining.
